The football fan's best ever present!!!!

As Colin kindly does all the downloading of the photo's onto the computer, I thought I would share with you his christmas present from me. As you all know, he is a bit of a Hammers fan, he had been given the t-shirt from a very good friend and I decided to have it framed, as you can see, it is rather large and much bigger than I thought it would look, thank goodness there was enough space on this wall to put it on. He was thrilled to bits with the present and even I have to say, I think it looks rather good myself.

A surprise visitor on New Years Eve

I know this blog will have gone backwards as I should have done this one before the one of Maddie on her own, still never mind, put it down to an age thing. Anyway, these pictures were taken after Colin and I got over the excitement of Adam and Carly bringing Maddie around to our house after she was discharged from hospital. Adam had phoned me to tell us that they were not going to let her out for at least another day when all the time they were bringing her home on New years eve. They crept round to the back of our house and suddenly out the corner of my eye I saw movement in the garden and there they were holding her up in her car seat. I think the neighbours thought there were a pair of nutcases living next door to them by the reaction from us but it was a lovely surprise, the best ever end to 2008 I think.

The not so little Maddie

Well at last I have managed to get Colin to download the recent pictures of Maddie. She now weighs in at 4lbs 7oz, what a little piggy she is becoming, I think Weight watchers will have a new member in the not so distant future!!!!! She is still a little sweetheart and is being very good, she feeds every 4 hours but has to be woken up for her milk so Adam and Carly have to set the alarm clocks to get them up. We saw her on sunday and it was great holding her, her little cheeks are filling out as you can see from the picture. It is hard to believe that she will be a month old on 14th, where has the month gone I keep asking myself.

Maddie

Happy New Year everyone we hope 2009 will be a great and peaceful one for you. The end of 2008 could not have been better, little Maddie (all 3lb 9oz) of her was discharged from hospital on new year's eve, what a great way to end the year. Adam and Carly surprised us by bringing her round to us and we both got to have a cuddle of her without any tubes to get in the way. I will post some pictures on the blog when Colin downloads some onto this machine (I am a bit thick when it comes to putting them onto the computer). Anyway all, goodnight, or should that be, good morning as it is 1.17 at the moment.
