pictures I forgot to attach to my previous writing!!

Holiday

We had a brilliant 2 weeks in Cyprus, probably the most relaxing holiday we have had for many a year. All we seemed to do is, swim, eat, drink and read, I read 6 books during the fortnight finishing the last book on the plane home last night. The weather was hot, hot, hot, got myself a great suntan just hope it doesn't peel too much, even Colin has come home with quite a nice colour which makes a change from the red he usually gets, mind you, he was very sensible and stayed under the parasol, only emerging to swim or go into the villa!!!! We had a week on our own, again, not much difference to the first week although we did venture out a couple of times but as it was so hot, we returned pretty quick to throw ourselves into the lovely pool that was on the property we were renting. Now its back to reality and work starts again tomorrow at 7.30am!!!!! just hope I can get up as it is dark here now at 5.45 when I get up, never mind, lots to look forward to the first being Marisa and the 'boys' coming home for three weeks in November, her friend Kaila is also coming along to help with the little ones on the journey but she has never been to the UK so we will have fun showing her around, even if the weather will not be at its best.

Georgie and Martins wedding in Cyprus 13.09.10

Well, what a wonderful wedding. Georgie looked beautiful, the groom didn't look too bad either. The backdrop to the wedding was just surreal, blue sky and the sea looked vivid blue but there was a bit of breeze that blew up a couple of hours before the wedding but at least it kept people slightly cool as most of the time we were in cyprus the temp. was anything from hight 80's upwards. Martin came round to the villa on the morning of the wedding, we were sharing the villa with Richard, Chris, Alison and Pete, we swam in the pool and drank champagnne, just unreal, something we have never done before a wedding. Georgies dad wore a kilt which was very brave I think as the breeze was going for it, and I just hoped that he hadn't followed the usual Scottish tradition of not wearing anything underneath!!! I think Georgie had informed him that boxers were the order of the day. Anyway, the day went far too quick as it always does but it was a memory we will have forever. I was very shocked but really touched as Georgie gave me her boquet of flowers as Colin and I had just celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary, this touched me a lot and I enjoyed them for the next 6 days, thank you Georgie so much. Hope you like the pictures
