Carly and Adam's BBQ

these two reprobates invited us for a BBQ at their house Saturday, seeing as we were not able to fly out to see Marisa, Shane and the babies due to the most inconsiderate volcano, we thought, yes, it would be great especially as the sun was shining. Needless to say, Maddie stole the show and was a right little actress, she enjoyed crawling in the garden, climbing on her toys and generally doing what little girls do. Anyway, we had a lovely afternoon and evening, thanks Adam and Carly, we did enjoy ourselves so much so that we didn't wake up until 10.30 this morning!!!!!! Shame you two had to get up early eh?

Jamie, Adam, Todd and Yasmines visit

Well, Jamie and co. came up for a couple of days last weekend, it was good to see them and a first visit for Adam's two children, Todd and Yasmine. Adam, Carly and Maddie came to dinner on the Saturday and then on the Sunday we went to Bewl Water and had about 4 hours there. Just worried about the 'big' children going onto the 'little' childrens toys, thats the swing and slide. I think they all had a good time and hope that they come back another time. The visit was all too short, especially as we hadn't seen Jamie since new years day but she is coming up to us on her own at the end of May for the Bank holiday weekend, we shall look forward to that.
