we have snow and more on the way

well, its cold, white and wet and there is more to come!!! Both of us were unable to get to work today (shame), I tried to get my car out at 6.30am from the garage but all I did was slide and skid and that was before I got off the drive!!! the brain said, 'don't do this', so I didn't. When I phoned in work, patients and staff were unable to get in so I didn't feel so guilty, Colin had the same response. We have been into town this afternoon, many shops closed or were closing but it was nice to get out into the fresh air. Hope you like the pictures of our garden and front of the house.

Maddie's 1st birthday

Maddie had a few friends to her first birthday party on Saturday, it was a great afternoon and lots of people turned up. She was so good if a little bewildered and did not want to crawl around just be carried by anyone that would oblige----needless to say, there were a few willing people. Its actually her birthday today and I went to see her. I took Adam to the hospital as he had to have his cartilage in his leg sorted out then went to see her. Hopefully Adams op will have sorted the problem out once and for all, he is bandaged up for a couple of days but off work for 3 weeks.

My family

these pictures are of my neices and nephews and a motley crew they are as well!!! Just needed Marisa, Shane, Adam (Jamies partner) and, oh yes of course, the bridegroom

Emma & Craig's wedding 5/12/09

The weather did not stop us having a wonderful day, the rain didn't appear until just as the last few photo's were taken but it was so cold but then, it is December I suppose and should be expected. Emma look beautiful, Craig also scrubbed up well!!!! The other lovely thing was spending time with family catching up on news and seeing how much the 'little people' have grown so much. Emma's twin sister who is due to have her first baby any day now managed to see her sister marry but poor old Victoria, she looked so uncomfortable and left the reception quite early due to this, good luck Vicki, we look forward to hearing when your son arrives. The disco was great, everyone was up on the floor dancing (except Vicki, maybe she should of, her little boy could have been here by now!!!), the children enjoyed themselves immensely and Emma and Craig will have some wonderful memories of their special day.
