Trip to Feutuventura, it was hot and sunny, great fun and came back feeling refreshed - now back to work!!!!

This is the little boy in Adam, he sucked out the helium from a balloon and then proceeded to sing happy birthday to his dad. He had us in stitches and Maddie looked bemused by him and his strange voice.

Colin was very surprised by a cake being brought out to him and us singing happy birthday, he took it very well.

Colins birthday

Its Colin's birthday today so last night Adam, Carly, Maddie, Jamie, Adam, Yas, Todd and us two went to a new restaurant called Smith and Weston, yes you guessed, it a cowboy type place and very American (not knocking you americans here!!). Anyway, the food was great, service good and the staff very friendly and we all had a lovely time.. Jamie arranged for the staff to deliver a birthday cake to Colin and we all sang happy birthday to him which he took very well. We then went back to Adam and Carly's and had dancing comptetion against each other on the Wi machine they have. It was really good fun but I knew I wouldn't keep up the pace, although Colin did very well along with Carly and Yas. Jamie, Adam and the two youngsters had to drive back to Devon this afternoon which is very sad but it was lovely having them here since Wednesday. Now its back to normality again.

New Year

We welcomed in 2011 with our friends Tony and Fi, a good night was had by all.

Christmas

As you can see, the pictures we have are only of Maddie!!!! didn't want any of the oldies. We bought Maddie an easel and blackboard (We also bought Hayden one), she seemed to like the magnetic letters but we didn't have enough to do her name properly so Colin improvised. We had a great Christmas only spoiled because Jamie was unable to get here due to the snow and ice down in Devon which stopped her from getting here, still, she is coming up this weekend, so another christmas dinner!!! Win and George also had christmas to us staying for 5 days, her nephew and his son came for the day over the christmas period. Well, its all back to the normal grey misreable weather of January, the only good thing is, spring is just around the corner.
