Lazy river

This is lazy river at the resort and was great fun, Marisa came in the water with Hayden just for a couple of pictures as Hayden was not too sure of it and didn't seem to like being there. We also went into the pool at the house one evening when it was lovely and warm.

our Florida holiday

Well, we are back in good old cold, wet and dark England after having had good weather in Florida, it was in the early 80 degrees after the first 3/4 days. Before the good weather, we had the tale end of a hurricane that had hit Louisiana, it was very windy and turned to rain for 36 hours but then the sun shone. We did the tourist things but only managed to take in Gata Land, Sea World, Magic Kingdom and Universal Studios, to be honest, that was enough and very exhausting. It was great meeting up with Marisa and Hayden and having Jamie and cousin Ron with us as well. We stayed in our friend's house near Kissimee which backed onto a championship golfcourse, we decided not to have a round of gold in case we showed ourselves up!!! The pool at the house was lovely which we took advantage of and also used the resorts swimming pool which was called lazy river, I will blog some pictures on to show you what it was like, it really was a lazy river but so much fun, even Ron got into it and he hates swimming pools. Hayden behaved really well and by the end of the holiday we got him to say 'cheers' at the same time as lifting his cup and clinking it against ours, not sure that was a good idea.

Maddie

Just a few updated pictures of Maddie who is ten and half months now, crawling, pulling herself up and getting into all sorts of mischief but still a little doll.

This is for Marisa, she wanted to see what the decorating looked like, so here it is. Thank goodness we had people do it all for us as it would have taken us months to do. It all looks very nice, although, Colin and I wasn't sure about it for 24 hours as we were used to part plain walls so having a pattern from top to bottom was a bit scary, we have got used to it now. By the way Marisa and Shane, the picture of the baseball place in Denver is now in the office alongside the Westham pictures!!!! all very sad really when you think about it.

just a few more wedding pictures

This is Lisa, (Laura's sister), also Ellie and Chloe, they are Lisa's two girls who were bridesmaids. Also attending the wedding were Del Boy and Uncle Albert!!!!! For those of you who do not know who they are, they are characters from a show we had here, Neil arranged for them to come along to the reception. They were so like the real characters of the show and were very funny, I think everyone enjoyed seeing them.

Laura and Neils wedding two weeks ago

It was a windy and slightly cold day but the sun shone, the bride looked beautiful and everyone had a great day. She arrived in an open carriage (it was closed until she reached the top of the drive where the wedding was to be held, then they put the covers down), the horses were gleaming, not sure if Laura had groomed them before she got herself ready!!!! Little Harry (her and Neil's baby) was not very well that day and was fretful at times but he looked so cute in his little suit. A good time was had by all.
